IS 6770 good with 400 W power supply?
I am going to buy HD 6670 for my PC instead of the 9500 GT.When i looked in the specs its given 450 W or better Power supply.What will I do?The GPU's Graphics Specs is too awesome for such a low price.So i cannot turn my mind away from it.IF I have to change my PSU then please suggest the price if that in India also if there are GPU's with almost The same performance as that of 6770 then please inform me of that (Nvidia or ATI).I was going to buy HD 6770 for Rs 5200.Please Help
Also if any body has used this GPU with this power supply.Then tell your experience of it .I cannot risk my computers life for this!!!!!Please Help

If the graphic card's specs say not to run a 400w power supply, don't risk it. My friend did, and his GPU fried. If you want it bad, then buy a new power supply. I don't live in India, so I wouldn't know the costs of these things.If it helped, I have a 750w in my HD 6850, and it runs beautifully, at a very nice cost.
first of all,it is HD 6670 or HD 6770? HD 6670 cost around Rs.5200 and HD 6770 cost around Rs.7000.
for HD 6670,you mostly don't need a power suply upgrade.a local 300 watts of psu is enough for HD 6670 but for HD 6770,you need good quality 400-450 watts of power supply.if you are getting HD 6770 for just Rs.5200 then just buy it.it is very good price but to run it,you need psu upgrade first.consider fsp saga II 500 watts for Rs.2200 or Corsair CX430V2 430 watts for Rs.2300.
if you are talking about HD 6670 then you most likely don't need a psu upgrade.
